[ She shakes her head again, not letting the sour mood settle for long. ] Okay, just relax, Amy...oh! I should...probably answer. [ She glances around, but doesn't immediately see her phone. ]

Where did - ? [ Leaning over the bed, she spots it on the floor, having fallen off the bed while she'd been flailing. As she reaches down to get it, she slips and falls herself, hitting the floor with a thud. ]

[ She lays on the floor, rubbing her head a moment. Then she scoops up her phone and stares at Shadow's message again. ]

Okay, just be cool, Amy. It's fine. Nothing to worry about.

[ She taps the sides of her phone as she thinks, and eventually (finally!) sends a reply. ]

[Shadow's ear twitches while he's waiting for the response, he swears he heard something... Probably just a bird. Either way he had waited patiently for Amy to reply back so, the hard part.

There is a cafe I frequent that I think you may enjoy? Unless you have something you'd prefer to do.

[ Amy considers that for a moment. She doesn't think he means the Helleste Café, since she doesn't see him there often. And she does like checking out other cafes that she doesn't work at. ]

Sure that sounds fine! Maybe we could check out the cafe, and then take a walk through the park afterwards?

[ She hesitates a little before sending it, because she worries that that might seem a bit pushy. But it was still an innocent enough suggestion, so. ]

[ And sure, he could probably just text her the address and she'd be able to find it. But walking over just meant a little extra time together. ]

[ Since this is totally not a date, it shouldn't take her too long to get ready. Just need to freshen up a bit, and make herself a little more presentable.

[By "soon" he means within an hour, because he wasn't exactly near the Inn at the time, so it takes a bit for him to get back to their room.

Which is probably a perfect amount of time for Amy to get herself all freshened up.]

[ Amy doesn't entirely mind, since it does give her a chance to wash up a little and change into a different dress, something a little nicer than her usual one, while still appropriate for the weather. She also decides to use the cute bag she got as a gift, just because it works well with her outfit. She's actually quite proud of herself by the time she's finished, since it didn't take her as long as she thought it would to get ready for a date.

Which this is not. Nope.

Once she's changed and ready to go, she'll mess around a bit on her phone while waiting for Shadow. ]
